We will focus on safety and building a therapeutic alliance. Acknowledging your individual strengths. We will address any individual legacy and cultural burdens. Ann will teach you multiple mind-body techniques for grounding and managing your nervous system. We will not process trauma until you are comfortable and feel safe in your body.
02.
You are your own unique human being. Your nervous system has been shaped by your life events. My job is to understand your specific needs and tailor your care to you. We will together regain your strength. Your story is important and I will honor your life experiences.
03.
Through our work together you will be learning to understand how to manage your nervous system. During our therapy process you will begin to feel more confident and safer. At that time we will assess if therapy goals have been met and discussing if it's time to end. It is a mutual decision, while knowing that the journey never really ends. We can always reconnect if you need more support.
A Note from Ann
I believe that the most worthwhile adventure is understanding yourself. I’m here to partner with you in creating the best possible path to healing and understanding. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR Certified. I believe we all have the capacity to heal through the mind-body connection.
I developed a deep interest in trauma serving as an Army National Guard medic, witnessing the profound effects of war on soldiers, and I believe trauma is a human experience beyond combat, shaped by multi-generational impact, marginalization, and systemic inequalities—I'm here to partner with you in healing.
I have a caring, empathetic and heartfelt approach. I believe that we all inherently have value and deserve individualized care. I recognize the best in people and find purpose in supporting them to identify their strengths and learn to master their own nervous system. I want to partner with you to help you navigate this difficult world. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey.

Welcome.
